Ways to Support Us

By donating to the Prairieaction Foundation Legacy Fund, you will help support community-based research into the causes and solutions to violence and abuse.

Prairieaction Foundation has raised $6 million towards a $7.5 million endowment fund and the interest earned on the investment of these monies pays for the research.

There are several ways you can give to Priarieaction Foundation today:

1) Donate Publicly Traded Securities

More Information on Donating Securities

Publicly traded securities include shares and bonds that are traded in Canadian and most US stock exchanges. Giving publicly traded securities has several benefits to the donor: you will receive a charitable tax receipt for the fair market value of the donation; and there is no tax payable on the capital gains as a result of a donation of publicly traded securities.

2) Donate On-line

  Donate Now Through CanadaHelps.org!
Click here to donate on-line through CanadaHelps.org, a secure non-for-profit charity portal that facilitates philanthropy through on-line giving. As a public foundation, CanadaHelps.org offers its services at a very low cost to Prairieaction Foundation and other Canadian charities. There are no costs to donors. Donors can give a one-time donation or set up a monthly giving program to support Prairieaction on an on-going basis. Both CanadaHelps.org and Prairieaction Foundation keep all the information you enter strictly confidential.
